I've never heard of applying lemon juice on waxed skin to aid in pain relief. I suppose there could be a case made for applying lemons (or juice of) to balance the ph of skin, but for pain relief ... well, I'm not so sure about that.
If it's true ~and we all know that it is~ that discomfort associated with waxing is immediate and dissipates fairly quickly, I would question WHY there is lingering pain (if there really is lingering pain, of course), and not immediately cover it up with lemon juice, which has a ph of 2.3 (and geez, wouldn't that hurt like the dickens?).
My experience and observations as an esthetician is that waxed skin (all skin, but especially BBW, face, underarms) needs to be calmed and soothed. The Post Wax Essential Oil is excellent for this, it can't be beat!
IMHO~
