I was using Ease. I have to admit that I haven't yet converted to hard for eyebrows although I use hard everywhere else on the face. I'm actually really confident in my brows and have many happy customers and that's probably why I've been reluctant to change, but ultimately I know I probably should.
I prepped as usual and had done her several times before with no problem. And her mom was in the lobby....and brought her back in to show me after I did her sister (The mom brought in both daughters and waited in the lobby and the girls came in one by one). I pretty much gave her the "many factors" answer but I realize most people will quickly blame the esty and use that experience as their "horror" story the first time they see a new waxer (because I'm often the "new" one listening to their stories). I know there are bad waxers out there but I also know it just happens. I know it could have very well been my fault, but it's just a bad feeling when someone walks out thinking you're incompetent.
