I had the problem with the skin staining with the initial batches of the blue but not since. I use a stiff hand held fan and fan the area to make it set up quicker and reduce my time. I apply the oil the use a towel to wipe off any excess then start applying my strips. Getting the right temperature and thickness is the key. Keep practicing and you will master it.
