I got my first job out of aesthetics school by calling and asking to speak to the owner of the spa I was interested in working at in town and she liked me enough by our conversation to have me come in for an interview that week. I brought in a resume and references and my professional licenses and insurance and was hired on the spot. I worked there for 6 months until I opened up my own business. Don't leave it to chance by talking to some random front desk person, ask to speak to the owner or manager and go from there! Have your resume ready to email over and have a great positive attitude (that will get you far)
