Thank you, Isabel! I made the change from a corporate job to the beauty industry because I was burnt out and frustrated. I was so fed up one day that I walked out!!
I'm in northwest Illinois. There is some competition,along with European Wax Centers popping up everywhere. I just keep up on my wax technique and offer stellar customer service.
I was hoping I can meet other waxers in my area, but after trying to do so, I found that the waxers here weren't interested in making new friends because they feared I would steal "proprietary techniques". So this message board is a true life-saver!!
