I had a few clients who liked designs (thank god that kick didn't last long) I used cookie cutters these were the easiest to get the design into the hair with. I used a white eyeliner pencil by wet n wild (sharpened in between clients obviously) and traced firmly around the cookie cutter into the hair.
Make sure you find some people to practice on first and then when you do start doing this on customers charge extra because it takes awhile!
