I have been waxing for years now and just had a first time bikini client who looked like she had 3rd degree burn scars, I am not exaggerating the condition of this skin from what she said were ingrowns. The skin had a melted appearance with deep pocking up most areas where hair follicles would be. Has anyone ever run in to this and is there any advice to give to her? I had a difficult time believing that ingrown hairs are what caused such severe damage until I noticed that she had similar scarring on the base of her neck where I could actually see an ingrown hair, I performed a facial after the wax. She is heading back to a foreign country to teach but I feel like I should at least research this in case I run in to such an extreme case again
