I actually looked for keloids and saw none. The client had not been waxed for months prior to this service as she is teaching in a foreign country and it is difficult to get to a larger city for the service. The scars were old and literally looked like her skin was melted from top of pubic bone on bikini line and 2 inch out all the way down to bottom of bikini. There was no indication of raw or irritated skin or I would definitely have not performed the service. There was absolutely no skin reaction or even redness after the service. The girl is headed back to Korea to teach but I begged her to really look in to exfoliation( I gave her exfoiating gloves) and some sort of chemical exfoliant with a salicylic acid in it to prevent further scarring, and to not attempt removing ingrowns herself. Not much else I could do but was just curious if anyone has seen any scarring to this extent before, I was floored and felt helpless to do anything but recommend she see are dermatologist
