No shows are a part of business. Chronic offenders get fired.

I would be grateful that I lost only the income from one client and not the $$$ I would lose if I became sick and had to cancel a day or 2 or more.
Yes, my release says no shows will be charged but because I value clients, I forgive the first and the second if a year has passed.
I only enforce when a no shows/late cancellations are frequent.
When no shows exceed shows or are at a high ratio then I charge them or do not book the client.
you would Crazy if you charge this client you may well lose her do you want to risk that???
when I charge a frequent offender say every third appointment canceled her hypothetical $30 visit would become $45 for the 2 shows thus compensating and anticipation of the lose. This is the other reason we have a price range.
