I use a natural degreaser called "citri solv" it removes wax better than anything I have ever tried plus it smells like oranges (it's made from orange oil) when I'm waxing I keep a flower vase filled halfway with this stuff and after each swipe I toss it in the vase (I only use the reusable ones for back waxing) by the time I'm done waxing and cleaning up the wax has dissolved and the spatulas are ready to be cleaned with soap and water and sprayed down with barbacide.
