I just always wear gloves for every procedure. We have to now because there has been so much publicity over the subject of glove wearing with waxing. Gloves just don't cost that much and it makes the clients feel better. It seems thats a lot to think about - having to remember to not touch, etc. I just as a rule spray the bottles down and then the table and wipe them all clean between every appointment. I have gotten nothing but positive comments about this and the clients notice and feel more comfortable - which seems to me to be the most important thing in what we do. If they're comfortable they relax a bit more. It doesn't add any time to the appointment at all. I just do it really quickly while the client is dressing. That saves me from standing around like a dolt waiting for them to dress after the appointment any way.
