You can try a heat transfer. I was renting a room in a house and my blue wax was warm...damn cats found it upstairs in the closet and on the shelf and dumped it over. Take a warm iron and pieces of paper bag. Iron over top of the bag. It will lift the wax and you keep replacing clean paper until it isn't coming up anymore.
