I have a client who gets a chest stomach part brazilian wax and he gets histamine reaction with large welts after he gets waxed and itching while he is getting waxed. He also gets shivers too while he gets waxed. Anyway, because of what I learn on this board I told him to take benedryl 20 min before his wax and it worked! I was so impressed and so was he. He did react much much milder in some areas to nothing at all in other areas. And no itching or shivering. I was so happy.
