I always use a couple of strip wax areas on the outer edges to start a hairless portion. (use good technique on this area to avoid bruising) If a person has very sparse hair, I use strip wax to the outer vulva and then start with the hard since I know have a hair free area to pull from. If the person has very coarse hair, I use just a couple of strip wax sections, then all hard wax for the rest of it. That is what works the best for me. The reason some clients hate hard wax is they have gone to people who pick, pick, pick at wax that is embedded in hair.
