Hi Wax Pot...I've been doing extensions for over 4 years and when you start, you are going to be bad ;-) Extensions are easy to learn, but like waxing, practice is going to be your key to success. Don't worry about the sharp instruments, you movements are slow and controlled so there's very little room for error.
One of the toughest things is to get the lower lashes covered thoroughly, if you don't, the top will stick to the bottom. Don't worry if that happens, tho your clients my freak for a moment. All you have to do is grip the bottom of one lash and peel the stuck lash off, kind of like combing a tangle out of long hair.
I'm always checking out new products, I like Longmi glue (don't order online, buy from show or call them)..one of the things I like about Longmi is that they sell small bottles for lower prices and the glue dries out pretty quickly.. and lashes, JB glue and lashes. Use a primer...bribe your friends to let you put them on..and have them check for the ingredient "glycol" in all the products they use that might touch their lashes, including shampoo. You are welcome to email me @ 1accutrac@gmail.com with anything else. GOOD LUCK!!
