ok, this is what I posted in an earlier thread.
Somewhere around 40% (you pay) until they reach a monthly goal (gross dollars in servies generated) of...say $6000, 50% to $10,000 and maybe 50% to 65% from there. if you end up with a technician that can generate 10K's a month cherish that girl!
Sales commission should also be a sliding scale: 10 to 20%. A wax only selling technician should have a 80/20 ratio. 80% services to 20% sales. Estheticians should be 50/50
