My father was born in Tiawah OK. in 1918, his name was John Griggs, His father was Valentine Griggs, his mother was Maude. His sister was Valda, and his brother was Claude. Has anyone heard of this family? They moved to WY. in the early 20s. What school might his brother and sister have gone to? His mother was a school teacher but I don't know if she taught there. What kind of jobs would be available to a boilermaker,and a railroad man? Just trying to figure out what they were doing there. I don't know if they lived in town or out in the country. Is there any kind of historical society in Tiawah, or other recources I might check out? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
