: I notice one of the websites had the old Dunlap
: store in it. My grandfather built the
: original Tiawah grocery/postoffice/depot
: store. It was located just west of the
: school. It burned in the 30's and he then
: built the store/postoffice/gas
: station/depot that is located about a mile
: north of the Dunlap store. My memories of
: Tiawah are quite nice. Do you remember
: any of this???
:
I remember the Dunlap store, the school, the hills, and some of the families that lived in the community. I attended school there from first grade to maybe fifth grade many years ago. (Late 60's, early 70's) My memories of Tiawah are quite nice too. My first "boyfriend", Brett Moore. My "bestfriend", Jill McMillan, my classmates - Richard Knight, Tina Condor, Jim Casey, Robin Adams. I remember some of my teachers - Mrs. Reading, Mrs. Waller, Mr. Christian. I'm glad I came across this site, it brought back some very fond memories.....
