Posted by A Fan Thunders bottom came through again in the bottom of the fourth with two more to stretch the lead back to four runs, and then Troy Quinn's (3 for 4) 2-run homer made it a 7-5 game in the top of the fifth. This would be as close as green would get as a sixth inning seed off the bat Russell Rorick Jr. was stabbed by Pickles and turned into a 1-6-3 double play halting any hopes for a run scoring inning. The veteran's went to work again in Thunders half of the sixth. Another leadoff line drive base hit by Moose his third of the game, a couple of walks mixed in with a base hit followed by a somewhat long sac fly by winning pitcher Rob Pickles that plated 2 runs with heads up base running and hustle by Harry scoring from second base made it 11-5. Green scratched one more in the top of the seventh on a base hit by Wags that was played into a three base error for the final score of 11-6 and Thunder takes a One-Zip Series lead. Green held Thunders heart of the lineup in check as Thunder did to Green. With this said I expect a lot more hitting and runs scored in games to come. Good luck to all. Good day, good sports

Game one started out slow with Thunder taking a small 2-1 lead going into the third after a two run second thanks to the hitting of seasoned veteran's Moose James -N- Ronny C. A three run third by thunder made it 5-1 thanks to the top of there lineup coming through. Green scratched back into the game in the top of the fourth after a lead off single by Brian Connor followed by 2-run homer from Steve Gatlos making it 5-3.
