Why is this board so dead? There is softball being played, isn't there? I am very disappointed. There were some good games last week, and no one took the time to write-up any game scores or highlights. Trappe Green and Thunder played a tough set last Thursday. Green spanked my Thunder teammates the first game by more than 15 runs I believe. Thunder was down by 11 (13-2) in the 2nd game after the 3rd inning, and finally woke up their bats to climb to within 2 runs (13-11 after 4). Thunder made a few position changes in the middle of the game that seemed to work out for them, and they held Green to 1 run in the next few innings. Thunder's bats finally earned them a huge come from behind win in the final innings with some more clutch hitting. The final score was 17-14 (?) after all was said and done, as the sun was setting on another night of Collegeville softball. I know this is not as good as R. Rorrick writes them up, but I'm just trying to liven up a otherwise dead league message board.
