The Felons took a pair from Thunder this evening with Hitting. The top four in the order combined for 29 hits in the Twin Bill. Russell Rorick Jr had 7 hits as well as Mike O'Brien and Matt Cybularz did. Troy Quinn chipped in with 8 hits himself.
I can only speak form my own view but there was a play made by Felon SS Gerry Dinolfi that is THE BEST DEFENSIVE PLAY by any position player that I have seen this season in any league on a seed hit in the hole by Lil Harry. Amazing would not be a stretch at all after this diving stab and strong throw from the knees fairly deep in the hole.
Lots of fun in a battle of two hungry teams that will probably see each other when the real season starts with the playoffs.
