SUPER TYPHOON PAENG!

Hi there Michael!
Raffy here... It's been a while since I last posted a message here... I was quite busy with my academics at UP... hehe... 3rd year na kasi...
It seems that Typhoon PAENG/CIMARON shall make landfall tonight (Isabela area). Then it will cut across through Ifugao-Abra-Ilocos Sur area (Vigan city is in grave danger, I guess). I am just amazed at how this storm manage to rapidly intensify over a time span of just 18 hours and it is still getting stronger at this moment. In fact, this one is a lot stronger than Milenyo (correct me if Im wrong). It is now over a month ago when Milenyo struck our country, NCR in particular. It unleashed its fury through the ferocious winds and heavy rains we experienced. I just hope that Cimaron/Paeng will not cause that much damage as compared to what Milenyo wreaked upon our country. But i think this one is really a strong typhoon and we really have to prepare for it so as to minimize loss of lives and properties.
I just want to inquire if there is still a probability that the storm's eye center will pass through La Union (Im asking coz we live here in Bauang, La Union). I hope it does so i can experience the lull and calm weather associated with the possible eye passage (hehe :-) )
