First tropical system of the year!!!

Latest satellite images shows an area of convection over Caroline Islands rapidly intensified for the past 12 hrs and likely to be a depression within the next 12-18hrs. With its current condition, it most likely to be a strong storm or minimal typhoon by monday to tuesday night. With current position of Subtropical high from China extending toward Japan, could it be possibly hit Philippines and most probably between 12.5-15.0N lat? just asking????
