Naaah....i haven't thought that you're that old. Anyway thanks for the info, because it really brought us piece by piece to the 9 typhoons of NCR. Experience too made me go after these typhoons, but I was in the later stage siguro.I was born the day the world's largest and strongest typhoon spared the Philippines (Typhoon Tip 1979)but it was in 1984 that i experienced the first supertyphoon...Nitang.But I was more into the eruptions of Kanlaon Volcano nearby.He he hehe,Nevertheless, I saw our globular flourescent lights of our house when Nitang struck us.But what fascinated me was my "first" eyewall-eye encounter witht the famous Ruping in Nov 1990. There I started on plotting down charts and started to search for Phil's worst ones. My quest for a typhoon statistics led me to Mike's site in 1998 and later in 2002, Mike and I joined forces and published the country's typhoon record holders as to their category. he hehehe.Kasi we believe that dapat ang Pilipinas ang may pinaka impressive na outlook on typhoons.
