Posted by Dominic It's my job actually to start updating the stats with Mike Padua but we both are getting busy, with me having my licensure exams this august and mike not having time to get copies of the latest "official" typhoon summaries from PAGASA. Yes we have been experiencing fewer typhoons of more than 200 kph but they are coming by rapid successions every season and battering heavily populated and naturally hazardous areas of the country.Typhoons are becoming more erratic actually. So typhoons are getting more destructive despite its strength. As confirmed by PAGASA Virac, Reming broke record for wind speed of 320 kph. We will just tally it officially in our stats. Dont worry Mike and I will work to have the stats updatted before the last quarter of this year. Thanks
