Trop Depression Tonyo

This tropical depression is interesting since it crosses Mindanao. However, only PAGASA recognizes its "tropical cyclone status". Well, I think it will keep its status for just a short time anyway considering the expanse of Mindanao.

Mr. Padua, were there any documented 'typhoons' crossing the greater part of Mindanao in the past? Thanks!
