hi there.
yeah its look like we are heading for early rainy season as high pressure ridges weakens that early and couple of deep and strong low pressure trough that influences some westerly to southwesterly wind direction across Bay of Bengal up to SE asia which as of now reaches the Philippines. This is the reason why we have an early summer thunderstorm which affects most of the country for a week now.
Another thing ECMWF forecast shows a tropical cyclone development over South China sea.
