Hi Mark,
Sorry too busy. Yes, Its La Nina - the cause of this April Rain. ALthough latest analysis now shows it waning down. So it will again coincide with the Onset of the Wet Season for the Philippines. Just like last year, the LPA South of Guam was very much similar to Super Typhoon Butchoy which developed May 2008. So there's a strong possibility that it may develop.
Btw, Kudos to WeatherGaines for helping answering queries for this boardhost site .. and i also appreciate your superb blogsite.
