El Nino coming this late 2009?

I've seen the new bulletin from the Australian Gov website and it seems that the pacific ocean continues to warm. Will there be an El Nino episode later this year? What could be its possible effects in our country? It seems that the last La Nina brought us way above rainfall. Is this El Nino episode going to cause us droughts?
