: A lot to learn. PAGASA's modernization is
: the same thing I have heard since 2001
: (Nanang), 2004 (Unding, Violeta, Winnie),
: 2006 (Milenyo, Reming)and 2008 (Frank). pero
: di yata naging totoo. puro lang inihip ng
: hangin ng mga bagyo. Pagasa should invest
: also in people to beef up their planning and
: forecasting kasi hindi sapat ang
: "raising typhoon warning signals"
: na trabaho ng weather bureau natin.
: Researchers should look into mapping and
: strategic areas for additional monitoring
: equipment and areas of extreme hazard. I
: know this would entail a complete overhaul
: of NDCC, PAGASA, DILG but better start
: "sigh" now than killing more
: ang trend ngayon is similar to 1984, 1988,
: 1995, 1998, 2004, 2006. wala bang
: retrospective studies ang PAGASA? they have
: a lot to learn from history of our typhoons.
: they need not to compare their forecasts to
: Katrina and Morakot kasi wala silang
: binatbat. As I have always been saying.
: Being the most typhoon visited country in
: the world it is but proper that we are the
: leading country in the field of typhoon
: science and technology

: I just watched ANC and I witnessed how the
: Director of PAGASA identified these two
: They were identified as CLOUD CLUSTERS by
: the director of PAGASA. Tinanong pa ng news
: anchor kung yung dalawang depressions na
: makikita sa screen ay papunta sa Pilipinas.
: (Yung mga tracks sa taas show that they will
: traverse the general Philippine direction).
: Tapos ang sagot ng direktor na ito, cloud
: clusters lang sila at hindi mga depression.
: It's is clear that PAGASA needs to be
: modernized. Good news is the top advisor of
: PGMA advised her to modernize PAGASA.
: I remembered where ST Rosing came from.
: Parang pareho ang pinanggalingan ni Rosing
: at ng 2 depressions na ito.
: Track of Rosing
