: I am currently viewing the latest satellite
: animation of TY Lupit in JMA's satellite
: imagery. It seems that Lupit is drifting
: northeast to east very slowly. The mid-level
: low pressure trough is pulling Lupit to the
: northeast. I don't know but it looks like TY
: Lupit is veering away from the country, and
: it's already on a high latitude (17
: degrees). However, I remember a similar
: typhoon, UNDING (MUIFA) which drifted east
: to north east then performed a clockwise
: loop and tracked west-southwest.

Thank you. Now, if Lupit started its looping movement, would that worsen the threath of this storm to Luzon? I'm thinking that if Lupit turned to a southwesterly track, then Central and SOuthern Luzon will not be spared by Lupit's fury.
