Hmmm... looks like there will be a cold surge after all. The presence of the front producing midlatitude lows tracking 30 degrees North and the building HPA over China and the quite disorganized Low pressure over the country may strengthen the amihan...for now. The presence of the midlatitude Lows also appear to dampen a bit the momentum of the Easterlies by diverting it a bit northward. let's see what happens...
