Hehe... small world po talaga! 
well, i'm not yet officially working for pagasa.. not until I'm done with my thesis. I'm working on it (thesis) actually and then I check the weather and post something here during breaks. hehe... I'm quite in a difficult situation really since i'm 'literally' making my lifelong passion for the weather my career. It's quite hard also because most people (in pagasa and my professors) think we're just some hobbyist but i'm saying to myself that at least the passion is there. I guess true passion makes a difference since you go to work not just for the sake of earning a living but because you love to. thanks to You and the other guys here for inspiring me to push thru with this.
I applaud you sir Mike for making the weather more accessible by packaging it in a way that most people understand. you've transcended your personal passion for the weather into pure service. I guess that should be the ultimate goal of each one of us.
