If under PAGASA's area of responsbility, a Tropical Cyclone will be named if a Low Pressure Area or Tropical Disturbance develops into a Tropical Depression (winds from 45 to 63 kph). PAGASA is the one who is naming the system within our area. Meanwhile, international names on the other hand will be used if a Tropical Cyclone reaches Tropical Storm strength (winds reaching 65 kph).
