Hi Michael,
It's much cooler here in Stoke. 11 deg C with sunshine and occasional heavy showers.
Correction: I'm having a great time UP here in the UK, hope you're looking forward to what the West Pacific offers DOWN there in the Philippines. Heehee!!
Well, I'll check out your cluster of thunderstorms across Micronesia. We have new satellite equipment here at the observatory which allows to view all parts of the world, including Michael Padua (so watch out and give us a wave!) We had to have a special code from EUMETsat for this and it is really well worth it. Pictures are excellent quality. Looking forward to the typhoons. :-)
