Posted by Raffy I would just like to inquire about tropical system formations at this time of the year. Is there a retreat of cyclones forming in the Pacific? When will be the next time that we will see another storm brewing in the Pacific and/or South China Sea? It seems that Japan is now having less typhoons which makes landfall and/or have indirect effect on it. Also based from my observations, Taiwan has seen 3 or so Tropical systems last month and during the first week of August. In addition to that, systems forming in the South China has increased in number. Why is this so? Could you please give me an answer Sir? Sir, could you also enlighten me on STEERING RIDGES that may have a strong influence on the storm's projected path? Also, please give me some information on the effect of a HIGH PRESSURE system unto a certain typhoon when it comes to its forecast track. Thanks for the time sir.
