Posted by Diesel 949 on 3/22/2001, 3:34 am This is an ignorant statement on your part. So let me get this straight: You're basically saying that cats like Eminem, Common, Kweli, and Mos Def to name a few get no love just because they're finally seeing airplay??? Damn if it were me I'd be giving the radio stations that are putting these cats on rotation props because they aren't secluding themselves to that jiggy bullshit. It's about time the typical mainstreamer can say "Oh yeah I have" when asked if they have ever heard of Reflection Eternal. And one more thing, it makes the airwaves more diverse in that talented emcees are finally getting the spotlight they have deserved all this time. The term "commercial" can be good or bad. On the "good" side, more heads are getting a chance to peep the music that would have been restricted to an audience like the underground. On the flip side, getting caught up in the mentality commercialism can be bad (hence, switching up your style to appeal to the hip poppers). peace D'949
