Posted by Dave C Scratch the movie is going to be playing in theaters in September or October I believe. I went to the premier screening at the LA Directors guild. I must say that it's quite good, although there are many aspects of "turntablism" and DJing that Doug Pray failed to cover. Not that he was supposed to cover everything, but I think the film puts a little too much focus on the west coast scene. I would have liked it even more if he looked at the art from a broader standpoint, i.e. the influence it's had on pop-culture, pop-music, and alternative rock, etc etc. Anyway, hope y'all having a splendid summer.
