Matry Domus put an add up for a new bassist, so.... for all you bassists out there here is what you get to look forward to when you meet these guys and/or join the band.Ok! first off the music....
paint by numbers metalcore need I say more? NO but I will anyway The riffs are catchy but that is most likely because you have heard them somewhere else before just look through your cd collection for dead to fall, as i lay dying, black daliah murder, and Darkest hour and you have the route of all matry domus songs. Basicallyt what I am Trying to say is look forward to playing in a band that is going to be sued for plagiarism.
As for the percussion Hmmmm...... where to start. Picture a retarded drum machine that no matter what you do it stays off time. The fills are drug out so long that they throw off everything including the drummer himself. The blast beats are as if the drummer was 90 years old and had a severe case of athsma. He is lucky if he can keep it up for 10 seconds. Thats just what happens when you have a drummer who has no idea what the #### he is doing even when it comes to the proper way to use his sticks (clue: Your wrist has a purpose!).
And For the vocals well.... You see there comes a time in every boys life where he goes through changes and his balls drop his voice gets deeper and he learns how to scream well it seems that stage in life has skipped this vocalist. I can actually whistle louder than he can scream! maybe if he got out of the new metal plugging your throat technique it might not sound like he's gargling a bottle of listerine. If the band were truely impotant to him he would look into screaming lessons and stop careing about his and his girlfriends matching hair cuts.If you thought jamie jasta (hatebreed) sucked wait till you hear this guys monotone vocals. He wouldn't know what range was if it kicked him in the ass but he might like it.
And to end it......
Me and my good friend james intended on joining this band because we saw the potential in the two guitarists. And saw an easy way to get rid of our drummer that only cared about money and his failed attempts to get laid, But that plan backfired when they asked him to join the band with us thus dragging everything down hill from there. They can look forward to the smae temper tantrums that he threw at shows when things didnt go his way,You guys can keep your new drummer and all the embarresment and shame he will bring to your band. The sad thing is they are trying to go grind without the help of the only two musicians in the band that know how to write and play it and it sounds like as if avenged sevenfold went grind and the drummer lost an arm and a leg and if the vocalist tried screaming again while gargling vomit. Dont even get me started on the ####ing joke of a label they are signed to they wave that around like its something, but if you go to the website you will realize how much of a joke it is. www.matrydomus.com

This band is the biggest wasted of potential I have ever witnessed, and to whoever decides to join with them You are just as stupid as they are.
