Eliminating the HTX-100 T/R delay

I've had a HTX-100 laying around for years, and decided to use it for a 10m beacon. Everything works OK except the carrier null is not so good-- this I can probably fix. Failing that, my other option is to modify the CW Tx/Rx delay timing-- the rig stays in Tx mode for more than a second after the key is released, which is way too long.

Due to the poor quality/documentation of the downloaded schematic & service info that I've managed to scrounge, I cannot figure out exactly which componants determine the Tx/Rx delay timing. Anyone here have any suggestions or tips?
