Good evening Greg...
Jerry here in Minnesota.
Got a Ranger AR 3500 and a question regarding where it's power cord plugs in. My 1st Ranger, and it came w/out a power cord, has the molded 2 pin plug, which only plugs in one way of course. (has the grove in plug).
I got a 2 pin cord, plugged it in, turned on the power supply, and then turned on the AG Gain knob, and nothing. Swapped cords, tested fuse for continuity, etc. No go.(did infact blow fuse)
I'm looking at the plug in, and looking closer, see that, looking at the rear of the radio, the stamped - and + signs are OPPOSITE of the power cord's red and black wires!?
...say what!? (actually, I said a swear word or two.) Anyways.. Have I gone nuts?
(after your done laughing, I'd appreciate your input!)
Great site, btw.
