You may have been bumped by eBay selling a galaxy, 2510 series, ranger series, RF limited series, and even many HF rigs with 10 meters. I send a 2 part narrative with info that may eventually be settled in court. It is now confirmed that the FCC rejects all claims that eBay makes to justify booting these 10 meter transceiver auctions. Neither eBay or the FCC have hard copy official documents with authorized signatures that indicate a rule or policy that eBay is now using to boot its members auctions and memberships. There is only one FCC staff member, Ray LaForge, who has emailed a computer generated memo to eBay to suggest problems with a group of 10 meter radios. This FCC staff member is only a voice of opinion. There are no FCC rules, FCC regulations, or FCC policies that prohibit THE SALE of these 10 meter transceivers. Unlike its competitors eBay is obviosly very hard headed or just plain stupid. Probably the latter as eBay "does not provide a list of radios that cannot be sold. This is like saying "List at your own risk, and eBay will not tell you exactly the models you can't list so you can get in trouble for listing it"! Many of you may reply with the fact that eBay is such a huge business that small claims mean nothing to them. The current legal project is only a little over a year ongoing and is projected to end in just a couple more years. The claims are growing by the dozens daily so hang on to everything!
Steve
