Try a feather edge, and add in very little filler on the root. For the most part, you want to fuse it, and many guys did. I felt more comfortable dabbing a touch of wire every 1/4" or so of travel. RN67 works great on it. As with most nickel alloys, there will be a lot of trash that floats on the puddle, but that's ok. Enough heat will push it to the sides of the puddle.
