Posted by Rick The C25 gas is primarily used with FCAW Dual Shield wire normally in the all position category where the Co2 Atgon combination provides better arc stability and mechanical toughness etc.

The pure argon will work fine with GMAW. It will allow you to go into both Short Circuit Transfer as well as Spray when using a wire such as E-70S6 for instance.
