Hello,
I'm a student of mechanical engineering in universcity of Thessaly in Volos city,Greece. I'm studying welding of aluminium 5083 with Mig and Tig method. The plates are 2.4mm thickness and are joined by butt-welding. Could you please give me some advice about some welding modifications? Could you propose me some information about shielding gas, filler metal, current and anything else you would like to share with me for both methods? Thank you very much.
