I have a small farm and often little things break and it seems to me could be easily fixed sometimes with basic welding. I have never done any welding but would like to tackles some of these small jobs. I picked up an old Craftsman AC Arc Welder at a garage sale. 20 to 180 amps output,operates on 220 volts. I have 220 setup in my shop. Frankly I don't even know what the difference is between "Arc" "Tig" "Mig" Can anyone recommend a resource online or elsewhere where I could get some fundamentals for using this Arc Welder?
