So i decided that i want to learn to weld. i've been considering some welders (stick) and the only thing i can find in my price range of quality is the clarke 131e. im not looking to weld any bigger than 1/4". has anyone ever used this welder? what is the thinnest metal i could expect to weld with it? trying not to spend more than 100-150$ i can get the clark for 95$(after shipping).
also, i dont have a decent place to weld since i live in an apartment. could i just buy a power inverter for my truck and use that as a power source?
