Is there a technigue for plating 12"x12" box tubing with 1/2" plate. The box tubing is 13'long.The application is for a heavy duty wrecker boom.I was told that the tubing needed to be preloaded in a large press and then welded. Does anyone have any other ideas that won't require a press. thanks Joe Z. Shoreline Towing
