I THINK YOUR GAS PRESHER nees to be turned up and the end of your nozal should be clean from weld spatter, Clean with a pair of needel nose plires, also theis is a dip sold at any welding store, that you can dip the end of your copper Mig tip into and that way it will keep your tip cleaner longer.
