Everyone should get to the library and get these 2 book and read them. Especially Mr. C. Then see if he still hypes him up like he does. The name of these 2 books are "DREAMS FROM MY FATHER" and "THE AUDACITY OF HOPE" Here are some exerpts from the books. Don't buy these peices of trash!!!
From Dreams Of My Father:
I Ceased to advertise my mothers race at the age of 12 or 13, when i began to suspect by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites!
I found solace in nursing a pervasive sence of grievance and animosity against my mothers race!
There was something about him that made me wary, a little to sure of himself, maybe and white!
It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyality to the black masses, to strike out and name names.
I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates did'nt speak to my own. It was unto my fathers image, the black man, son of Africa, that i packed all my attributes i sought in myself: the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBios, and Mandela!
AND FINALLY FROM THE 'AUDACITY OF HOPE'
I WILL STAND WITH THE MUSLIMS SHOULD THE POLITICAL WINDS SHIFT IN AN UGLY DIRECTION!!!
